Fun Friday Favorites

Fun Friday Favs

I am starting a new feature on the site called Fun Friday Favorites. Each week I will spotlight several things I have found and fell in love with. It could be a product, destination, item of clothing, thrift store find, viral video, Pin on Pinterest, person to follow on Instagram, or whatever. I may even share a movie, comment made on my blog, something you wrote on Facebook, literally anything. Feel free to share something you believe should be included.

Let’s start with some Easter and Spring Inspiration. The sun is out, the weather is warmer, and we are ready for some pastels and short sleeves.

Here are the nine ideas I found around the web and Pinterest that I fell in love with and think you need to know about.

1- Easter Table ideas – I love the use of wheat grass as a way to bring in the greens and outdoors. I think the use of it in a centerpiece for Easter would keep the kids entertained.

2- Easter Egg Nests- these are something we will try for a treat for Easter. We can eat coconut and use nutella for this recipe. I can’t wait to make it my own. I will share the recipe changes and how it turns out.

3- Robin’s Egg Blue & Burlap Spring Wreath from Uncommon Designs Online. I adore the colors and textures of this. I have tons of easter eggs that I can use for this. This might be the first project I tackle. Or I may just spray a few of the eggs and add them to my Burlap wreath I made. Oh I need to share with you the tutorial for that.

4- No Bake Chocolate Easter Egg Cookies – I will be making these with oats and nutella this year and pressing them into the deviled egg holder to see if they turn out good since we have now eliminated peanut butter with our recent food allergy addition.

5- Egg Carton mini Muffins- I love the idea of making mini cupcakes and toting them around in an egg carton- adorable right.

6- Chalkboard Easter Eggs – These are painted rocks, or you could get these ceramic eggs at JoAnns and paint them with chalkboard paint.

7- Cute and Free Floppy Bunny Pattern from The Sewing Loft. You know I Love Heather Valentine.

8-  Cute Shirt Dresses- Mod Cloth has a huge selection of shirtdresses in various classic and vintage style patterns. I am in love with this new Hot style

9- Simple Sock Bunny Craft- Quick and easy with glue on buttons for face. Any kid can do this.
