Snow White is a classic beauty, the kind that draws so much jealousy that it creates tragic risk for her. Her kindness and innocence prevent the killer from causing her harm. Her kindness and sweet demeanor win her friends with the animals, who help her work, and the dwarfs, who she cares for.
She realizes that life in a castle in not as important as being safe. She realizes that being with people who care about her, and who need her are better family than legal or blood family sometimes. She realizes that finding people that will protect you and care about you are who you need in your life.
Snow White shows the value of friendship, and humility. Even though she is a Princess, she cleans the dwarfs house to help care for them and to do her part in the household. She is gentle with the animals, and admits that she has fear that is unfounded at times.
This movie is safe for all kids, all ages. It is much more fantasy, but opens up a lot of discussions with your kids. It is a great classic that you don’t have to worry about what your kids will see or hear.
