  1. Sugar Hair Removal   Winter is a great time to prep for swimwear season by getting rid of body hair. But this doesn’t have to be a messy or dangerous process filled with lots of chemicals. Make ahair removal mixture with natural ingredients by mixing one cup of sugar with one cup of honey and juice from half a lemon.   Put the mixture in a saucepan on medium heat and let it boil. Allow it to cool down a little before using it as you don’t want to burn yourself. With the use of Popsicle sticks, apply the mixture to your skin in the direction of hair growth and cover it up with a small piece of cotton fabric, pressing it down on your skin. After a minute, flatten your skin tightly with one hand and pull the cotton strip off your skin with the other in the opposite direction of hair growth. If the mixture cools during the process, reheat it and continue where you left off. The bonus of using sugar to remove hair is that it exfoliates while it de-fuzzes, giving you smoother skin.   2. Facial Mask to Lighten Skin   There are many home remedies out there that can help you achieve lighter and brighter skin that’s perfect for spring. An easy face treatment you can make is one that contains lemon, which fades darker areas on the skin. Lemon extract is also sometimes found in skin lightening products thanks to its Vitamin C content that keeps skin luminous and youthful. To make the DIY face treatment, mix one spoon of cucumber juice and one spoon of lemon juice. Stir this blend well and then apply it to your face. Leave it on for about 15 or so minutes, then rinse it off. lighten skin

Either way, you can create summer-ready and trendy beach waves in your hair without much fuss at all. Here’s a quicktutorial: Simply plait your hair into some braids and then use a flat iron over them. When you untie the braids, you’ll have instant waves that look natural and pretty. 4. Luscious Lip Scrub Whether or not you’ve been exfoliating your lips during the winter, using a peppermint scrub now will help to erase that leftover winter dryness so that your skin is dew-fresh. You can make your ownrefreshing and soothing peppermint scrub by mixing together a teaspoon of honey, three drops of peppermint essential oil, one-and-a-half teaspoons of sugar and a teaspoon of coconut oil. Blend it well and store it in a container so you can apply it to your lips whenever you feel the need to get rid of flaky or dry skin. Easy and effective!   5. DIY Protein Power Tresses Since your hair is made up of protein, getting this nutrient through diet and products can help your hair become healthier, bouncier and manageable. Make your own protein blend for hair quickly and easily. With two eggs, half a cup of honey, half a cup of olive oil and half a cup of yogurt, you can nourish your hair naturally. Beat the eggs and then add in the splash of olive oil. Whisk this mixture and then add in the yogurt. You want it to be nice and creamy. Finally, add in the honey. Comb your damp hair and apply the mixture all over. Use the comb to spread it through your hair from root to tip. Then, wrap your hair in a warm towel for approximately half an hour before washing it out with your regular shampoo. There you go. Damaged hair becomes stronger and silkier.   beauty mask
